Learning participation
Unique participants, sessions, repeat attendance, and educator observations.
A transparent framework for building a community agricultural education initiative in Bremerton and Kitsap County, Washington.
We are building a funding strategy to purchase land for a permanent community learning farm. The site will integrate gardens, youth education, animal husbandry, and conservation; animal-care operations will begin once the required facilities and safeguards are ready. Funding figures will be labeled as verified quotes, estimates, or targets.
Unique participants, sessions, repeat attendance, and educator observations.
Teaching beds, crops grown, harvest weight, composting and food literacy lessons.
Volunteer hours, community partnerships, conservation work and accessibility improvements.
All measures are proposed reporting categories. Baselines and numerical targets will be established after staffing, land ownership and pilot scope are confirmed.
A phased funding framework separates early organizational readiness from land and infrastructure expenses. Amounts are intentionally not presented as verified until supported by estimates and quotes.

| 02 · Land feasibility | Survey, site due diligence, access, environmental review | Property-specific professional assessments |
| 03 · Garden pilot | Raised beds, tools, soil, water, accessible paths, instruction | 2–3 supplier and contractor estimates |
| 04 · Learning infrastructure | Covered instruction, sanitation, storage and safe access | Permits, engineered scope and cost estimates |
| 05 · Expansion | Animal-care facilities and additional programs if feasible | Separate feasibility, operating and welfare plans |
Establish legal structure, fiscal controls, partner commitments and operating safeguards.
Secure suitable land ownership, launch a small garden program, collect baseline outcomes and validate costs.
Expand facilities and programming only after demonstrated demand, staffing and sustainable funding.
Capital requirement: pending verified budget and property due diligence. Contributions should not be assumed tax-deductible; the initiative has not established 501(c)(3) recognition.
We welcome conversations with schools, landowners, grantmakers, businesses, and skilled volunteers.
